Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 12, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of engrainrva.com, operated by Engrain RVA (“Engrain RVA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. Do not use the website if you do not agree with them.

1. Purpose of the Website

This website provides general information about Engrain RVA and its custom woodworking, cabinetry, built-in, closet, trim, and finish-carpentry services.

Website content is provided for informational and marketing purposes only. It is not a construction specification, professional design opinion, guarantee, binding estimate, offer, or service agreement.

2. Project Inquiries and Quote Requests

The website allows visitors to submit project inquiries and request contact from Engrain RVA.

Submitting a form, calling, sending an email, or uploading project photos:

  • Does not create a contractor-client relationship
  • Does not create a binding quote or agreement
  • Does not guarantee that Engrain RVA will accept the project
  • Does not reserve a place in Engrain RVA’s schedule
  • Does not establish a final price, timeline, design, scope, or material selection

Any estimate or preliminary information provided in response to a website inquiry may change after measurements, site conditions, material selections, design requirements, availability, permitting needs, or other project details are reviewed.

A project becomes binding only when the applicable parties enter into a separate written agreement or otherwise clearly agree to binding project terms.

When a separate written estimate, proposal, or service agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the separate written agreement controls with respect to that project.

3. Accuracy of Information

We try to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all descriptions, photographs, measurements, availability information, service-area information, or other content will always be complete or error-free.

Services, materials, designs, processes, pricing practices, scheduling, and service areas may change without notice.

Website photographs are examples of previous work or design possibilities. Natural wood grain, materials, finishes, dimensions, site conditions, lighting, and workmanship details may cause completed projects to differ from images displayed online.

4. Information and Files You Submit

You agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably necessary for us to review your inquiry.

You may not submit:

  • Content you do not have permission to share
  • False or misleading information
  • Malicious code or harmful files
  • Unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or abusive material
  • Sensitive personal, financial, medical, or identification information that is unnecessary for the inquiry
  • Photos that unlawfully invade another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights

You retain ownership of photos and other original content you submit.

By submitting content, you grant Engrain RVA and its service providers a limited, nonexclusive license to receive, store, process, reproduce, and review that content solely as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, maintain related business records, and provide requested services.

Submitting a photo through the website does not give Engrain RVA permission to use that photo publicly for advertising, portfolio, social-media, or promotional purposes. Any such use should be covered by separate permission or an applicable project agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its contents are owned by Engrain RVA or used with permission. This includes:

  • Business names and branding
  • Logos
  • Website design and layout
  • Written copy
  • Graphics and illustrations
  • Project photographs
  • Videos
  • Service descriptions
  • Other original website materials

You may view the website and print or save limited portions for your own personal, noncommercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, modify, distribute, scrape, frame, publicly display, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from Engrain RVA or the applicable rights holder.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Engrain RVA’s intellectual property to you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or related systems
  • Interfere with website security or operation
  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful technology
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract website content without permission
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Submit repeated spam or abusive inquiries
  • Use website content in a way that infringes another party’s rights

We may restrict or block access to the website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or connect to third-party services, including Webflow, Uploadcare, Google Analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA.

The website may also contain links to third-party websites or social-media platforms.

Engrain RVA does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, policies, performance, or handling of information. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

8. No Professional or Safety Advice

Website content is general information and should not be treated as engineering, architectural, structural, permitting, electrical, plumbing, legal, financial, or safety advice.

Project requirements vary based on property conditions, building codes, materials, structure, intended use, and other circumstances. Appropriate professionals and authorities should be consulted when required.

Do not attempt construction, installation, structural modification, or tool use solely on the basis of information or images appearing on this website.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Engrain RVA does not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available or uninterrupted
  • Website content will always be complete or error-free
  • Files or communications will be transmitted without delay
  • The website will be free from every harmful component or security risk
  • A website inquiry will result in an estimate, response, accepted project, or completed service

Any warranties relating to an actual woodworking or carpentry project will be stated, if applicable, in the separate agreement governing that project.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engrain RVA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from your access to or use of the website.

This includes losses arising from:

  • Website downtime or errors
  • Reliance on general website information
  • Loss or corruption of submitted information
  • Unauthorized access by third parties
  • Third-party websites or service providers
  • Decisions made before entering into a written project agreement

Engrain RVA’s total liability arising solely from use of the website will not exceed $100.

This limitation applies only to claims arising from the website. It does not replace or alter the liability provisions of a separate written agreement for paid woodworking or carpentry services.

Some laws do not permit certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability. In those locations, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Privacy

Your use of the website is also subject to the Engrain RVA Privacy Policy, which explains how information submitted through or collected by the website may be handled.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding arising solely from the website or these Terms must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction serving Richmond, Virginia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to the Website or These Terms

We may update the website or these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted.

Your continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

15. Entire Agreement Regarding Website Use

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Engrain RVA regarding your use of this website.

They do not replace any separate written estimate, proposal, project contract, warranty, or service agreement between you and Engrain RVA.
